About the Carnival
Caterham Carnival is the heart of our community's summer. Held every year on the second Saturday in June, it's a cherished tradition that has brought our town together for decades.
The day kicks off with our vibrant traditional procession winding through the streets, leading into an afternoon packed with live music, spectacular dance performances, funfair rides, and delicious local food stalls. There's truly something for everyone to enjoy.
But the carnival is more than just a fantastic day out. It's a vital fundraising event that supports our local charities and community groups. Thanks to the incredible support of local businesses, volunteers, and everyone who attends, we continue to celebrate the true spirit of Caterham year after year.
Beneficiary Spotlight
Funds raised at the carnival go straight back into our community. This year, we're incredibly proud to support the Old Caterhamian Rugby Football Club — a vital local hub that champions physical fitness, teamwork, and mental well-being for all ages.

The Procession
Meet 11:45am Queen's Park Road
Watch the town come alive! The traditional parade winds through Caterham featuring local schools, clubs, and businesses on spectacularly decorated floats.
The Carnival Dog Show
Does your dog have what it takes? Sign up on the day at the Dog Show tent. Categories include Waggiest Tail, Best Trick, and Best Rescue.
Around the Field
Don't miss the fun fair rides, local food vendors, and community stalls operating all day!
